We have a great team comprised of producers, writers, editors, directors, cinematographers, art directors and a lot more. We can cover all of your project or work with you on just a small facet.

  • 1998-2001

    Our Origins

    Born, HCQ Productions, ElectricHobo formed from a group of high school friends making no-budget short films and self produced albums for local garage bands. Founder Jared Hoy, decided film and media production was what he wanted to do, professionally.

  • May 2001

    A Production Company Is Born

    While enrolled in film school, Jared filed papers to create a legitimate LLC. A true company was created. HCQ Productions began to produce short films, both in school as well as independant of classes.

  • 2008

    Full Service

    HCQ Productions had outgrown its mission statement, as development, pre-production, crew services and equipment rental, and post-production became part of daily life. ElectricHobo was created.

  • 2009-Present

    Expansion and Improvement

    Today ElectricHobo strives to bring great media and content as well as expand into emerging markets. We have worked with all sized clients from Studios to Web Series creators. Always keeping an eye on doing it better than the next guy.
